Seit einigen Jahren spiele ich in verschiedenen christlich geprägten Musikprojekten und Kirchen, unter anderem in der Elim Kirche, der Hauptkirche St. Petri sowie im Gebetshaus Hamburg  Dort begleite ich regelmäßig musikalische Veranstaltungen, Gottesdienste und besondere Momente. Besonders liebe ich es, mit der Querflöte Hochzeiten in alten Kirchen atmosphärisch zu gestalten.“

Rike Reichert: “For me, music is far more than entertainment — it has the power to transform atmospheres, connect people, and create spaces for depth, reflection, and inspiration. I am especially drawn to the combination of voice, improvisation, and the expressive sound of the flute. Flutes have carried a unique, almost meditative presence across cultures for centuries.

Over the past years, I have been part of various faith-inspired music projects and have performed regularly in churches and spiritual spaces, including Elim Church, St. Petri Church, and the Prayer House Hamburg. I accompany services, concerts, conferences, and special gatherings with atmospheric flute music and improvisation. One of my greatest joys is creating beautiful musical moments for weddings in historic churches.”

Heute arbeite ich nicht nur als Flötistin, sondern auch als Komponistin geistlich inspirierter Musik. Als mich das Gebetshaus Hamburg einlud, die musikalische Gestaltung der Bibelmeditationsstunden zu übernehmen, öffnete sich für mich ein neuer kreativer Raum.

In dieser Zeit entstanden wöchentlich neue Kompositionen in einem modernen, elektronisch geprägten Sound, die ich live mit verschiedenen Flöten improvisatorisch begleitet habe. Aus den stärksten dieser Aufnahmen ist schließlich ein Album entstanden, das hier erhältlich ist.

Today, I not only work as a flutist but also as a composer of spiritually inspired music. When the Prayer House Hamburg invited me to create the musical atmosphere for their Bible meditation sessions, a new creative door opened for me.

During this time, I began composing new pieces on a weekly basis in a modern, electronically influenced sound world, which I accompanied live with improvisations on different flutes. From the most compelling of these recordings, an album eventually emerged.
